Gold Rush Ranch and Golf Resort
Updated Project Submittal InformationThe first Public Review Draft Specific Plan for the Gold Rush Ranch and Golf Resort project was
submitted to the City of Sutter Creek on January 8, 2006. The City held two public map
showings on January 22, 2006, which provided the public a chance to
review the maps and ask the project team questions about the Plan. Over
100 members of the Sutter Creek community participated in the map
showing. The Specific Plan implements the goals and policies of the Sutter Creek General Plan, and is being
used by the City to plan the future of the Project at a greater level
of detail than that provided by the General Plan. The Specific Plan
describes land uses, infrastructure needs, development standards, and
design standards for the Project. This Specific Plan is an evolving
document that may be modified prior to final City Council action. Based on comments from the City Council, Planning Commission, City staff, and the public, the Specific Plan and project application were revised and re-submitted on May 1, 2007. In addition to the revised Specific Plan and application, a series of detailed studies, maps, and analysis were also submitted to the City in three volumes (Volumes I and II on May 1, 2007, and Volume III on June 15, 2007). These three volumes were revised at City direction and re-submitted July 9, 2007. Physical copies of these documents/maps can be downloaded below or checked-out from either
the Sutter Creek Library or City Hall. The
next phase of the project is the completion of the Environmental Impact
Report (EIR), which should be available for public review in Winter 2007. We encourage residents to contact us with questions and
comments on subjects of mutual concern. Sincerely, John Telischak, Bill Bunce, and Troy Claveran - Project Sponsors | Revised development map for the Gold Rush Ranch & Golf Resort. |
