EXTENSIVE COMMUNITY INPUT HELPED SHAPE GOLD RUSH RANCH
SUTTER CREEK CITY COUNCIL APPROVES GOLD RUSH RANCH!
After 9 years of public input, community collaboration and close to 40 public hearings, the Sutter Creek City Council followed the recommendations of the Sutter Creek Planning Commission and approved Gold Rush Ranch.

The project will bring hundreds of needed jobs to our area while protecting taxpayers and our quality of life with improvements to our public safety and infrastructure.

The project will also improve public recreation options for all Sutter Creek residents with new parks, a 5-mile network of hiking trails and public golf with discounts for local residents.

PROTECTING TAXPAYERS
For the first time ever, the City of Sutter Creek has a Development Agreement that will protect local taxpayers by guaranteeing important local benefits.

Gold Rush Ranch will build a new 15-acre Community Park with ball fields; help build a much-needed waste water treatment plant; provide new job opportunities; and fund new open space acquisitions.

SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL ATHLETES
Troy Claveran, local Gold Rush Ranch Sponsor, provides free lessons to the Amador H.S. Golf Team
Gold Rush Ranch is proud to be one of the primary sponsors of the local golf team. When Gold Rush Ranch is built, the public golf course will serve as the new home for the golf team.

Troy Claveran, who grew up in the Mother Lode, also volunteers as a local youth basketball coach.

GIVING BACK
Gold Rush Ranch & Golf Resort will provide important public benefits for Sutter Creek without increasing taxes on existing Sutter Creek residents.

These include a new paid Fire Department; significant contributions to new school facilities, helping to upgrade the city's sewage treatment plant; bicycle and hiking trails, public golf course with local discounts, a new Community Park and tennis courts; and numerous local employment opportunities.
